format
contestants

contestants typically meet each other shortly before shooting begins. however, in season six, contestants met each other whole group first time upon completion of first assignment of game, saw them split 3 groups of four, blindfolded , left @ unknown destination.


unlike in american version of show, player alliances quite rare , considered, many players in fact, cheating. informal, friendship-based groups ever took shape, , in seasons 2 , 5. season 6 had many alliances formed, in part due fact exemptions tangible items traded freely , introduction of freebies saw players using them currency or bribes.

assignments

each episode features multiple assignments (called challenges in season one, , in later seasons), of varying size , value, worth money group kitty (or pot in season six) if completed. assignments have penalties associated them if failed. assignments alternatively require physical skill, mental acuity, keen strategy, or 3 players them completed. in cases, however, assignment not explained contestants, increasing difficulty. in cases, perhaps selected contestants informed of full nature of challenge, , must work towards different goal rest.

in season 6 players can earn freebies . if player chooses use, question answered incorrectly on quiz counted correct answer.
