after scoreless third quarter, pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns gave alabama 38–10 victory. richardson scored second touchdown of game 12:25 remaining on 36-yard run , eddie lacy scored final points of game on 20-yard run. game, alabama s defense dominant in allowing 222 total yards of offense, 15 rushing yards being fewest ever allowed against florida in all-time series. trent richardson established new career high rushing yards in game 181 yards on 29 attempts. victory improved alabama s all-time record against gators 22–14 (23–14 without ncaa vacation of 2005 victory).
