the bengal tigers of sundarbans (translation: beautiful forest ), bordering india , bangladesh, used regularly kill fifty or sixty people year. strange given tigers in prime condition , had adequate prey available. approximately 100 tigers live in region, possibly largest single population anywhere in world. kill rate has dropped due better management techniques , 3 people lose lives each year. despite notoriety associated area, humans supplement tigers diet; not provide primary food source.
