guther s (or gunther s) (cornish: goothow, channels) (grid reference sv918144), small island lies on western side of eastern isles , south of st martin s. has limited vegetation consisting of grass, docks , sea beet. greater black-backed (larus marinus) , herring gulls (l. argentatus) nest common shags. possible walk out island st martin s @ exceptional low tides, great care must taken not cut off.
