the trenton thunder, double-a minor league team affiliated new york yankees owned joe plumeri, plays @ 6,341-seat arm & hammer park, stadium plumeri had named after father in 1999.


the trenton freedom of professional indoor football league founded in 2013 , played games @ sun national bank center. freedom ended operations in 2015, joining short-lived trenton steel (in 2011) , trenton lightning (in 2001) indoor football teams had brief operating lives @ arena.
