jack (jackie chan), renowned professor of archaeology @ terracotta warriors museum in xi an, teams young indian professor ashmita (disha patani) national museum institute, rajasthan locate india s lost magadha treasure in tibet. team find treasure underneath frozen lake using modern technology. however, interrupted group of mercenaries led randall steals treasure , leaves them there die. in chaos, jones – member jack s team more treasure hunter archaeologist smuggles away diamond artifact. jack s , ashmita s team manage escape underground icy cavern through opening.


two weeks later, 212 carat diamond artifact pops in dubai auctions @ black market. save job, jack attempts take artifact of rich friend. jack wins auction randall strikes again goons result in high speed car chase through heavy traffic in dubai. in ensuing chase, ashmita snatches them. jack traces ashmita s whereabouts , finds isn t claimed before youngest descendant of magadha royalty. ashmita explains diamond artifact known eye of shiva in family chronicles , key immense treasure hidden somewhere.


she asks jack find real treasure , protect wrong hands. further find diamond artifact part of scepter opens map room built using vastu shastra , astronomical positions of period in closed part of sacred temple. randall kidnaps jack , ashmita, demands find treasure him because belonged family. find map room happens puzzle room wrong move can cost lives.


they reach underground shiva temple made out of gold nearby secluded waterfall. reaching there, randall s group begins extract gems , diamonds temple decorations , searches treasure, despair, find treasure legend says ancient knowledge medicine, buddhism, mechanical structures, , many more. in despair, randall tries destroy everything, jack, ashmita , team start fight stop them. jack fights using principles of yoga , kung fu beat down randall , convinces him significant importance of finding. meanwhile, group of sannyasis comes down through new opening above ground , seeing magnificence of deity in underground temple, start sing , dance in joy. groups fighting, realizing pettiness, stop fighting , happily join joyous expression.
