a theropod closely related to, , of overall similarity to, feathered asian genus mononykus.


theropod tracks have been found in south dakota. unnamed alvarezsaurid, closely related asian genus mononykus, known montana. second footprint may have been made specimen of tyrannosaurus first reported in 2007 british paleontologist phil manning, hell creek formation of montana. second track measures 72 centimetres (28 in) long, shorter track described lockley , hunt. whether or not track made tyrannosaurus unclear, though tyrannosaurus large theropod known have existed in hell creek formation.
