during boom period of mystic island, there several social centers , amenities. in oceanview section of resort community, there formerly 9-hole golf course, bathing beach, , small amusement park. golf course closed , preserved forest, while amusement park went out of business , no longer exists. however, beach rebuilt , reopened part of townhouse community; bathing beach known graveling point . circular building @ intersection of radio road , bayview drive constructed boatel , boaters dock, eat, , sleep. concept didn t last, , later became boat sales showroom, later pizza parlor, , bar named rotunda . home living water christian center.


diagonally boatel playhouse , on playhouse drive between radio road , s. captains drive, welcome center featured gift shops, olympic-sized saltwater swimming pool , marina. building turned restaurant called mystic island casino , burned down in 1970s, , opened in new building on mathistown road, still operates day. original site home condominiums, residents of have exclusive rights use former marina.


the building home little egg harbor community center on calabreeze way shop functioning part of prefabrication process. later became roman catholic church known st. michael archangel . in 2002, sold township of little egg harbor , used township s community center.
