the crimson tide meet president barack obama after winning national championship on april 19, 2012.

following victory against lsu national championship, team arrived @ tuscaloosa regional airport on afternoon of january 10. several hundred fans there greet them upon arrival. on january 21, public national championship celebration @ bryant–denny stadium attended approximately 32,000 spectators. speakers @ event included head coach nick saban , university president robert witt. of championship trophies available public viewing.

as part of a-day celebrations on april 14, 2011 team captains trent richardson, dont hightower , mark barron honored @ walk of fame ceremony @ base of denny chimes. on april 19, team made trip white house, president barack obama offered congratulatory remarks championship season , recognized team community service given in tuscaloosa after april 2011 tornadoes.
