in march 2015, tim gill co-founded smart home technology start-up jstar llc. gill chairman , chief technology officer of company.


jstar’s flagship product josh.ai, voice-controlled home automation system using jstar’s own artificial intelligence technology platform.


the company headquartered in denver offices in los angeles.


in july 2017, jstar announced additional $8 million in private investment create original hardware compete google home, amazon echo, , other devices intelligent assistants inside.


currently, josh.ai can used through amazon alexa-enabled devices, google home, , ios , android apps.


quark, inc.

after jobs @ hewlett-packard , consulting services firm, gill started company quark, inc. in 1981 $2,000 loan parents. quark, inc. produced page layout software graphics market. introduction of fred ebrahimi ceo in 1986 , launch of company s flagship page layout software quarkxpress in 1987, gill became multi-millionaire.


gill sold 50 percent interest in quark, inc., in 1999 reported $500 million, citing growing involvement in philanthropic , activist endeavors.


connexion.org

in 2003, gill created connexion.org, social media platform engaging lgbt community in political activities. connexion closed in september, 2011.
