however, afterwards, deathbird manages convince him @ least delay plan vengeance, after 2 become romantically involved. vulcan uses powers heal d ken s injuries. afterwards, grateful d ken asks vulcan marry deathbird. after wedding, vulcan throws professor xavier m kraan crystal, kills d ken, , names himself emperor of shi ar. darwin leaps crystal after xavier, , after emerges him. during battle vulcan kills corsair, claiming not have father , blaming corsair letting mother die. xavier s lost telepathy restored crystal, he, along nightcrawler, warpath, darwin, , hepzibah, sent earth lilandra locking ship s programming. meanwhile, havok, marvel girl, polaris, ch od, raza, , korvus form new team of starjammers bent on defeating gabriel (vulcan) once , all, , salvaging remains of crippled shi ar empire.
