sited below ridge of kensington terrace, main building three-storeyed rendered masonry spanish mission style building. classroom wings terracotta tiled hipped roofs flank central entrance, tower, , campanile. has concrete floors, timber doors, steel hopper windows upper storeys, red brick sills, , rich decorative features facades , interior.

seen moggill road, building rises above surrounding vegetation , roofs, being prominent building on hillside. within school grounds, dominates views hill north east, campanile in particular being consistently visible. neighbouring school buildings have been limited in height, preserving vistas , building.


the main entrance school located on northern frontage, 2 storeyed , divided 5 bays. central bay gabled , features main entrance doorway; doorway arched , set in decorated rectangular frame. 2 bays flank central entrance bays arcaded verandahs above, while 2 outer bays have paired arched windows , tiled awnings.


the southern frontage, overlooks hillside, three-storeyed, , has 5 bays. central bay, containing chapel, extends out building, , has hipped roof, small gable south. tower behind rises 2 storeys above chapel, , has pyramid roof. flat-roofed campanile rises above tower, , has entrance @ base small round balconette above. chapel has large arched windows smaller arched windows above. bays flanking chapel , campanile arcaded second storey.


decorative features both frontages include gargoyles, twisted columns between arched windows , principal doorways, , arched cornices gables, tower , campanile. three-storeyed annex extends north-east, sitting half storey below rest of building; has hipped roof, rectangular windows, tiled awnings south , timber porch north.


notable features of interior include timber panelling , 2 stained glass windows, 1 depicting arts, other, sciences, in main entrance foyer. chapel has stained glass window south.


the headmaster s residence asymmetrical gabled composition in matching materials main building. has 3 gables north, 2 timber-lined, smaller gable on entrance, , situated above escarpment north of main building.
