the first session marked spectacular accident when front wheels of sébastien buemi s toro rosso simultaneously exploded free of mountings on approach turn fourteen hairpin. teammate jaime alguersuari kept in pits team investigated, revealed accident result of right front upright failing, causing front-right wheel break free. front-left wheel followed suit when left upright forced bear entire load of front end. parts, new chinese grand prix, subsequently removed both cars ahead of second practice session.
