practice

sunday begins 2 additional practice sessions. lap times recorded in these practice sessions used qualify competitors time attack session. no points awarded based on qualifying position.


time attack

the redline style time attack consists of 2 sessions each competitor total of 6 timed laps. each session consists of 1 warm-up lap, 3 timed laps, , 1 cool down lap. 8 competitors may share track time attack session, cars staggered such typically not encounter 1 during session. if driver catch car ahead, safe passing allowed. fastest timed lap of 6 total laps used rank competitors. competitor need not complete 6 laps eligible award; single lap sufficient. points awarded drivers based on finishing position in respective class.


super session

the super session finale of event. fastest competitors time attack amongst street, modified, , super modified classes invited participate in 5 lap sprint race. vehicles necessary safety equipment allowed compete. 1 race mixed classes conducted in traditional wheel-to-wheel format, grid arranged fastest cars front , slowest in back. field takes green under rolling start, , winner first cross finish line after 5 laps. passing allowed @ time after green flag. points awarded drivers based on finishing position.
