kirti stambha (tower of fame) 22-metre-high (72 ft) tower built on 30-foot (9.1 m) base 15 feet (4.6 m) @ top; adorned jain sculptures on outside , older (probably 12th century) , smaller victory tower. built bagherwal jain merchant jijaji rathod, dedicated adinath, first jain tirthankar (revered jain teacher). in lowest floor of tower, figures of various tirthankars of jain pantheon seen in special niches formed house them. these digambara monuments. narrow stairway 54 steps leads through 6 storeys top. top pavilion added in 15th century has 12 columns.
