new 2011. enthusiast class not part of redline pro time attack series beginning in 2011. **



street tire

the street tire class intended vehicles street legal , use dot approved street tires. competitive cars in class typically have in excess of 300 wheel-horsepower, of fastest above 500 wheel-horsepower. street tire class popular class based on participation.


notable changes 2011: pro drivers allowed, vehicles not need registered dmv, mandatory safety requirements


modified

the modified class allows extensive modification , not require vehicle maintain registration street use. cars allowed use of r-compound track tires flexibility in areas of suspension, aerodynamics, , body work. professional drivers allowed in class, though many of drivers car owner. competitive cars in class typically have in excess of 400 wheel-horsepower, fastest above 600 wheel-horsepower.

formerly unlimited class, super modified class renamed in 2010 because although cars appear built without limitations, there requirements. super modified cars make use of carbon/composite body panels, large wings, wide racing slick tires , massive amounts of power. fastest cars have 600 800 wheel-horsepower , reach speeds in excess of 180 mph on courses.
