plot

this broad overview of plot. decisions made player alter details of specific events.

season 1 (2015-16)
the order of stone (episode 1)

young builder jesse, his/her friends olivia , axel, , pet pig reuben go endercon building competition, lose every year rival team called ocelots. despite this, manage build impressive contraption (determined player), ocelot member aiden jealously sabotages, scaring off reuben. jesse goes after reuben, , 2 saved mobs friend petra, convinces jesse business deal: selling wither skull diamond.

back @ competition (which group either wins or loses, depending on whether jesse let his/her friends them search reuben) deal goes bad when ivor, man petra sells skull to, rips off , flees. jesse , petra, joined axel, olivia , sympathetic ocelot leader, lukas, follow ivor underground laboratory. there, discover him making wither, incredibly dangerous creature, unable stop him. creature attacks event , targets gabriel, member of legendary order of stone, whom ivor seems know. ivor loses control of wither, which, power of special command block implanted in wither s chest, transforms advanced, more horrific version of itself, called wither storm . destroys town, forcing group escape gabriel s fortress, gabriel sends jesse s group find order members magnus , ellegaard, , gives them amulet guide them. head dangerous nether, leaving petra , gabriel behind in process (one of them being sucked wither storm, depending on choices).

in nether, jesse s group finds train track left order, , goes overworld, group decides bunk night. axel has unexplained bitterness towards lukas, , jesse must choose side with. next morning, group arrives @ order fortress, discover ivor had been member of order, had been inexplicably kicked out. later find contraption that, when hooked amulet, shows on map current locations of members of order. lukas decides stay , fortify fortress, , asks 1 of 4 stay him. player has choice: go axel magnus, or olivia ellegaard. jesse , axel/olivia prepare leave, wither storm approaches.

assembly required (episode 2)

jesse , axel/olivia head boom town/redstonia recruit magnus/ellegaard them. after getting magnus/ellegaard join them (with different mishaps), return temple discover olivia/axel (whoever didn t accompany jesse) has subsequently retrieved ellegaard/magnus (whichever 1 jesse did not find), , reunited either petra or gabriel (depending on jesse saved before entering nether). returning machine, discover shows location of last, long thought lost member, soren, ivor, heading towards him. ellegaard reveals , soren had been building formidi bomb (an incredibly powerful explosive), , proposes solution problem of wither storm. group leaves find soren , secret lab. there, jesse, lukas , reuben find massive herd of endermen. magnus , ellegaard (who don t along well) depart in 2 different directions find f-bomb . jesse , petra/gabriel follow one, while lukas, olivia , axel follow others. walk, petra/gabriel reveals jesse that, despite saving him/her, have wither sickness , gets worse minute. eventually, confront ivor, taunts them, saying order unable stop him, escapes.

the last place (episode 3)

the group trapped (ivor s doing in prior episode). manage escape, end in foreboding end. there, spot soren , follow him massive house, jesse finds him researching dangerous endermen. jesse convinces soren destroy wither storm using incredibly powerful formidi bomb, wither storm attacks. return surface, reunite magnus , ellegaard. soren asks volunteer set off formidi-bomb, reminding them bomb go off seconds after being made. task falls on jesse s shoulders. accepting either magnus or ellegaard s armor, jesse constructs , uses formidi-bomb, , survives, magnus/ellegaard (whoever gave jesse armor) killed attack wither storm. formidi-bomb destroys wither storm, freeing citizens ate, including amnesiac gabriel or petra. unfortunately, due bomb not reaching command block keeping alive, wither storm reforms, having split apart make 3 wither storms, forcing flee.

a block , hard place (episode 4)

the group forced flee new storms. encounter ivor, wants fix mistake , offers solution: using book of enchantments has @ house in far lands can enchant weapon powerful can destroy command block. group (possibly without axel, lukas , sick member) goes ivor s house, learn story of ender dragon battle made order famous wasn t entirely true: soren used command block glitch ender dragon out of existence. ivor left order in disgust , summoned wither storm show world order are: liars , frauds.

despite shocking truth, jesse constructs weapon which, unwitting of endermen, use enter wither storm , destroy command block, though reuben fatally wounded in process , dies shortly after. world praises new heroes, jesse convinces gabriel, cured (same petra), either tell truth order s past or continue keeping secret. either way, jesse , friends made famous new order of stone.

order up! (episode 5)

sometime later, new order goes, on tip ivor, temple discover mysterious enchanted flint , steel. outside temple, re accosted aiden, usurped lukas new leader of ocelots (now going blaze rods ) , bitter towards fame new order has attained, though manage chase him , lackeys away. in town, group shows found loot ivor, reveals enchanted flint , steel key eversource, source of unlimited building power. returning temple, jesse, petra, lukas , ivor find portal, jesse activates flint , steel. unfortunately, blaze rods surprise them , enter portal first.

pursuing them, group ends in sky dimension, have build bridge dirt. come sky city, metropolis island in clouds, building strictly regulated town s stern founder. unluckily group, aiden gets founder first , tricks turning whole town against order. though ivor , lukas captured, petra saved milo, barman , leader of underground resistance called build club (jesse s decisions choose goes with). reunited, , find eversource, revealed chicken lays spawn eggs.

the group attacked founder , aiden, him betray , knock her, jesse , possibly lukas on side. land safely on land below, surprising founder, thought there nothing abyss. , jesse (lukas sit out, feeling weak fighting aiden in palace) build tower sky city, overrun monsters aiden summoned spawn eggs laid eversource chicken. though jesse defeats aiden , crownies, city lost , remaining townsfolk waterfall , flow safely down land below. after deciding aiden , eversource , how new government should run, jesse , group use portal , founder discovered while building tower return home, find in corridor filled portals.

a portal mystery (episode 6)

after entering 1 of portals, jesse, lukas, petra , ivor end in world similar own, except there 2 moons, , appears swampy. after reading invitation , escaping massive horde of zombies, end in mansion of other invitees, end 5 well-known minecraft youtubers: captainsparklez, stampycat, dantdm, ldshadowlady , stacyplays, 2 other fictional ones: torquedawg , cassie rose. revealed oblivious place new order, since portraits of youtubers , order somehow appeared in house. while meeting sparklez , torquedawg, lights go out , torquedawg mysteriously killed trap poisoned arrows .

through series of investigation, causing death trap of captainsparklez, right after announcement of fact murderer (who referred him/herself white pumpkin ) killing them off enchanted flint , steel (such 1 jesse has), death of lizzie, majority of youtubers point evidence @ lukas, petra , jesse fiercely disagree. two, along stampy, (who reveals had enchanted flint , steel), prove cassie rose white pumpkin, accidentally sets off 1 of own traps , dies. jesse, petra, ivor, , lukas peacefully depart remaining youtubers. new order walks on unlit portal frame, , attempt use flint , steel on it, , open portal home.

though flint , steel had power send them world, revealed portal trap rose, not dead. while threatens them endermites, jesse able defeat sword , own collection of ender pearls , leaves eaten endermites, while jesse , friends return through real portal, although unknown whether return home or not.

access denied (episode 7)

back in portal hallway, petra, bitter towards jesse leading in multiple worlds , portals, flees redstone portal, concluding redstone meant smart people . jesse, lukas , ivor, having no choice, follow portal.

upon arrival, taken hostage population of players controlled redstone chips psychopathy artificial intelligence computer screen pama (prototype: autonomous management agent), created redstone user harper but, against harper s will, controlled population in order make them useful . wanting invade jesse s territory , world, pama questions him , takes on petra , lukas, allowing see know. jesse , ivor escape pama of harper, shows them laboratory, reveals old builder . attacked pama controlled monsters, alongside mind controlled lukas , petra. through stroke of luck, jesse manages destroy redstone chips controlling spiders, , either lukas or petra.

harper captured whoever jesse didn t free orders of pama, , harper tells jesse find headset . eventually, after solving harper s puzzle, jesse finds headset, , wears it. allows jesse take control on , migrate pama-controlled mobs. finding harper being captured pama, jesse able free her, recaptured, finds out pama s internal redstone heart supposed destroyed. using 1 of ivor s potions, jesse able break pama engaged in fight either lukas or petra before destroying pama s heart. after townspeople freed pama s possession, discover harper had created pama, , hate it. harper accompanies group portal hallway, unlocks stairway redstone heart leading old builders live, might able them find way home, via portal atlas .

a journey s end? (episode 8)

arriving @ old builder s village, 5 accidentally interrupt game of spleef hosted old builders; hadrian, mevia , otto. lukas , either ivor or petra (whoever jesse doesn t choose help) seemingly killed, respawn sent nether mines, other losers of old builder s games sent. jesse strikes deal hadrian: if jesse wins games, portal atlas , go home. in village, harper explains jesse hadrian , mevia began force players other worlds play games - free if won games, virtually rigged.

after freeing lukas , other companion mines, jesse completes second game, despite hadrian sending green team eliminate jesse. ivor/petra (whoever jesse saved) killed, respawn. harper convinces sympathetic old builder otto jesse. hadrian reveals jesse kept olivia , axel captive using atlas, , makes deal: if jesse loses games, olivia, axel, petra, lukas, ivor , reuben (hadrian confused latter endercon usher) can go free while jesse stays imprisoned. otherwise, stays imprisoned.

the next day, on third task, jesse convinces other teams cooperate , rebel against hadrian , mevia winning. otto accepts victory, hadrian , mevia trap him , players, , kill jesse, , player respawns in respawn area, emily, leader of green team, olivia, axel, petra, lukas, harper, , ivor have stolen items jesse defeat old builders. plan successful, , receive atlas otto. in portal hallway, otto plans work on making games fun again. harper , emily either return home, stay in games, or leave order (jesse s suggestion), , order of stone return home. there, after jesse shows axel , olivia cool new artifacts (the flint , steel, eversource crown, white pumpkin head, redstone heart, , atlas). ivor takes enchanted flint , steel , atlas, in jesse either decides go after him or trust him new treasure.

season 2 (2017)
hero in residence (episode 1)

lukas narrates novel jesse , friends adventures , popularity. finishes, jesse, axel, , olivia provide feedback novel. along radar, jesse s new assistant, 5 leave order s palace prepare founding day celebrations throughout world. radar stays jesse various tasks in beacontown. afterwards, jesse heads mines meet petra, has been sent find mysterious creature stella, leader of rivaling city, champion city , has petra s golden sword.

in mines, jesse , petra fight off zombies, race through mine shaft find creature, turns out llama named lluna. capture llama, , find strange gauntlet on top of pyramid whispers jesse s name. pyramid collapses , reveals bottomless pit. close off pit , escape. on surface, jesse leaves warning sign, , head champion city take llama stella. 2 meet stella , give llama her. stella informs petra adventure scam , doesn t return sword. 2 decide steal sword back. once reach stella s treasure room, find sword missing. stella shows up, accepts defeat after inadvertently revealing s fan of jesse, , gives sword back.

as head beacontown, bottomless pit blows open , spews out charged creepers. fight them off before sealing again. head straight beacontown meet jack, former treasure hunter. jack talks jesse gauntlet, , introduces them nurm, jack s map-maker. 4 armor order s palace, , head ocean temple. travel, jack informs them how ocean monument run admin , being of infinite power. suit in water helmets, , swim ocean monument. jesse completes door frame, , frees vos, jack s old friend. jack surprised vos alive, , 5 reach main part of temple. find 2 structure blocks, , pick one. after fighting off stone guards, including admin, 5 escape beacontown. group close pit structure block, , celebrate founding day. celebration starts, admin goes after jesse, vowing demolish them. while lukas @ house finishing novel, sees admin approaching beacontown, suits , rides off jesse.

giant consequences (episode 2)

the admin meets jesse @ beacontown, , 2 fight, damaging beacontown in process, uses giant clock turn day night monsters invade city. admin swallows structure block. admin swallow jesse whole, lukas distracts him bow eye, , saves jesse. jesse realizes symbol on admin s head same symbol shown on of prismarine golems @ ocean temple, , jesse realizes destroying symbol way of destroying admin. jesse takes lukas horse, climbs admin, , kills it, dropping giant clock, jesse uses make sun come up.

in aftermath, jesse , others doing can rebuild beacontown, jesse gives radar title of clockmaster , involves watching giant clock day. jesse meets jack , vos, unintentionally spill go on new adventure nurm , petra. suddenly, jesse , petra see snowflakes falling in beacontown, , 1 of them ends melting inside gauntlet, revealing admin snowman. snowman gives jesse challenge: beacontown remain dark , surrounded hostile mobs until jesse reclaims giant clock, snowman says @ tippy top of awesome, fantastic, super-deadly icy palace of despair . jesse , others fight off numerous monsters , zombies, , group (consisting of jesse, petra, lukas, radar, jack, , vos) head toward ice palace. on way ice palace, group encounter lluna , stella, once again talking rivalry . group ignore her, , tags along them in order keep eye on them .

at ice palace, snowman drops group pit, , jesse can choose whether go lukas or petra in order find clock. group end in roller-coaster-like maze, , meet snowman once more, giving group several challenges, such shooting gallery, parkour, , fight giant snow golem. nonetheless, admin insists 1 person supposed win, , throws radar/jack challenge, vos randomly disappearing. group mine way out diamond pickaxe , face numerous snow endercreepers. jesse can choose whether petra or jack should clock, , whether stella should come along or leave be. petra/jack makes clock , destroys it, turning world normal time. jack insists on finding vos, , group jack find him. suddenly, revealed vos admin entire time real vos died years ago, , convinced on partnering stella. admin transports gauntlet whoever destroyed clock & proceeds teleport jesse jailhouse.

jailhouse block (episode 3)

jesse arrives @ sunshine institute , underground prison admin likes keep people detests & loved ones prisoners, people meant act guards. jesse tries escape jack/petra (who not chosen champion) discover prison in middle of labyrinth filled dangerous monsters. apprehended , sent prison. jesse meets warden, former guest (prisoner) promoted, proceeds torture radar in order coerce jesse becoming associate (guard), jesse can either accept new role or refuse it. if accepts role associate, if not warden break radar s glasses , give him black-eye. discover stella associate of deeper floor. after hearing of attempted escape prisoner x, discover need in order them out of there.

as associate/guest, jesse find guest s secret stash, mooshroom. once warden finds out, ask jesse shear mushrooms mooshroom change regular cow promising promotion lower depths if obeys. if shears cow, jesse promoted associate in lower depths (jack/petra, nurm & radar cause trouble demoted follow you), upon refusal, jesse , friends demoted lower depths guests. once in lower levels, jesse asks assistance stella make lever open prisoner x s cell. can either promise escape or not. after opening gate prisoner x s cell, admin shows up, fires warden, , forces jesse jack/petra (whoever became champion in previous episode) fight death, instead cooperate try , attack admin. annoyed abandons sunshine institute. before leaving, however, admin comes new plan impersonate jesse , take on perfect life in beacontown , proceeds take stella him.

they proceed prisoner x s isolated cell, rigged explode if no 1 standing on @ least 1 stone pressure plate, means either nurm or lluna (stella s llama) need left behind can escape. after escape learn prisoner x, real name xara, former admin. told xara , admin named fred fought romeo (the admin s real name) control of world, fred killed , xara s powers taken away.

after fighting through monster-filled labyrinth, jesse decides choose xara when ditches him, or leave fend herself. whatever player choose meet @ base of diamond tower. xara explains there passageway beneath tower , need dig bedrock escape, explains secret rid romeo of abilities lies there well. enter passageway, audience sees there giant enderman in passageway. romeo, in jesse s form, proceeds give order of stone s amulet armored assailant try , hunt down jesse , friends.

below bedrock (episode 4)

jesse , company reach underneath first world created romeo, fred , xara. xara explains place sealed romeo long time ago after killing fred , imprisoning xara. after arriving @ xara s ruined city oasis , xara points them destroyed portal bring them surface. jesse asks xara rebuild portal while xara tells them need object romeo or surface power portal. tells them head fred s keep find weapon can stop romeo, , out can used power portal.

while travelling via minecart fred s keep, group assaulted giant enderman, leaves jesse , jack precariously on edge of giant cliff. met scavengers demand weapons safe passage. if jesse refuses, jack seemingly fall death.

jesse , company find in fred s keep discover group of people venerate fred former protector , creator of safe village. jesse asks enter house weapon, winner of annual fred trivia contest may enter. after winning trivia contest/sneaking inside, discover weapon found in original house, cabin, fred, xara , romeo used live in. leader of fred s keep, binta, gives them device point them in right direction in exchange of helping villagers out of underneath. if jack , nurm still in party, stay behind convince more people join; if not, nurm stay wait jack.

while travelling admins first home, assaulted armored assailant, or ninja, revealed ivor. ivor informs group of admin s misdeeds , proceeds fake report buy them time weapon. before ivor leaves, jesse asks amulet of order of stone use part of portal.

the trio discover admins first home in romeoburg , needed complete challenges proceed. inside cabin find fred s journal, containing keyword (#potato451) , set of instructions on how defeat admin. realizing how similar , admins’ former friendship were, petra becomes emotional , worries own friendship end admins’. confesses jesse place not in beacontown, wouldn t leave if means lose jesse. jesse either promise petra leave or wait long takes.

upon returning oasis, jesse , company activates firework signal fred s people ready leave. gives xara diary, , swears vengeance on romeo. fireworks attract giant enderman several mobs of monsters. depending on previous actions xara either stays fight off mob or abandons group. people of fred s keep help; jack reemerge here if fell down in first act. radar discovers giant enderman angry @ him after attacked earlier , asks jesse if can use himself bait save fred s people. jesse given choice either leave radar behind or abandon fred s people.

upon entering portal find on outskirts of temple of order of stone, , horrified of new beacontown.

after credits see lukas getting ice palace greeting jesse (romeo) asking is. admin s eyes glow red scene cuts black.
